Placement, Confirmation and Financial Information

Deposits

Deposits (minimum $35 per program) can be made using cash, check, money order, credit card
(VISA/MasterCard/Discover), gift card, or cookie credits. Checks and money orders should be made out
to “GSCWM” and include the camper’s name on the memo line. Deposits are non-refundable unless we
are unable to place your child into a camp program (first or second choice), you do not receive the
financial assistance you requested, or the program is cancelled by GSCWM.

Final Payments

A placement notice and invoice will be sent to all girls who are accepted to attend a camp program.
NEW THIS YEAR - Final payments for all programs are due June 15.

If you are unable to make the final payment by this date and would like to arrange a special payment
plan, please contact Emily Bedaw Owen at ebedaw@gscwm.org.

Financial Assistance  

Limited financial assistance is available. To apply, download the Financial Assistance (FA) Application. If
registering via US Mail, mail the FA Application along with your child’s registration form and $35
deposit per program. If registering online, e-mail FA Application to receipt@gscwm.org AFTER
completing your online registration.

Financial Assistance is not guaranteed. The deadline for FA Applications is May 15. Requests received
after this date will be considered only if funds are available. You will be notified about the status of
your application during the first week of June.  

Cancellations/Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable except as noted in the Deposit section. Refunds for the balance of the
camp fee will be made only for cancellations received in writing at least four weeks prior to the camp
program. NO REFUNDS will be made for a camper arriving late, leaving early, or attending only a
portion of a program. In the event that a program is cancelled, a full refund (including deposit) will be
granted.

Placement, Confirmation & Waitlists

If space is available in your camper’s first choice, she will be placed into that program. If her first
choice is full, she will be placed into her second choice (space permitting) and placed onto the waitlist
for her first choice. Should a space become available in her first choice, she will be moved into the
space and removed from her second choice. If no space is available for her first or second choice she
will be placed on a waitlist for her first choice.

If placed, your camper will receive a confirmation packet. This packet will include directions to camp,
a packing list, parent information, a health examination form, an invoice for any remaining balance,
and other important items. Please review these items carefully, as some must be returned by June 15.

Girls who cannot be placed into a program and are placed onto a waitlist will be issued a full refund if
they choose not to remain on the waitlist or no space becomes available.

Important Dates :
Camp Registration Opens  February 2, 2009
    Registrations will be processed on a
    first come, first served basis.  

Financial Assistance Deadline  May 15, 2009   

Payment/Paperwork Deadline  June 15, 2009     
     Registrations received after June 15
     must be accompanied by full payment.
